North of Auckland New Zealand - The North of Auckland project is being organised by founder Claude Lewenz and designer Carin Wilson with support from Andrew Blake, Wayne Barnes, Bede Roughton and Shar & Michael Henderson. An Auckland project is likely to look north of Auckland within two hours of Auckland International Airport.
Europe: Germany and Spain - The European project is being handled by Andrew Blake. The prime candidates are in Dresden Germany and in Mallorca, Spain. With the decision of the EU to move from austerity to growth, the VillageTown offers not only temporary stimulation, but long-term wealth creation in a fully sustainable environment.
USA - Three target regions at this point, being handled by Aaron Katz, John Morgan and Didacus Ramos. In California, the southern end of Silicon Valley is now said to be as far south as San Luis Obisbo. Sonoma County remains under consideration but the regs may reduce it to a round two project. On the East Coast, both Rhode Island/Massachusetts area look attractive as does Maryland/Virginia.
Sydney Australia - The Sydney project anticipates a 10,000 population VillageTown within 2 hours of Sydney Airport. Presently indicators suggest looking north of the city, perhaps in the vineyard districts. Craig West works on this project, focusing on securing stage one financing. With a regional population of over 4 million, it can expect to draw a significant number of future citizens from the region.
