If you have an existing Jira Software subscription, then your Jira Work Management and Jira Software users will be merged into one subscription during the migration process. Your new Jira subscription will be the higher edition between the two products (for example, if you have Jira Work Management Standard and Jira Software Premium, your new Jira subscription will be Premium and users will be migrated into Jira Premium). Upon renewal, pricing may vary depending on changes in user tier, plan, and/or licensing. Pricing can also depend on marketplace app subscriptions. |
During the user migration from Jira Work Management to Jira, it’s possible that you may see an increase in the user tier of your current plan. This may happen if the number of users migrated from your Jira Work Management subscription is more than your current user tier on Jira Software. If that happens, you will not see an increase in price for the higher user tier for the remainder of your current billing term. Your next billing term will take into account your post-migration user user count, however a 10% discount will be applied to your new user tier. For more details on the discount, see above. |
Because Marketplace apps are provided by third parties, we are unable to provide any specific details as each app will differ. Apps are designed to be compatible with all Jira products, so we do not anticipate any changes in functionality. Depending on the app, some may require re-authentication or re-configuration. If you have a Jira Work Management subscription and also have Jira apps, you may see an increase in the total bill after the user migration process. For customers who face an increase in the user tier, you will not see a billing change from apps for the remainder of your current billing term. In your next billing term, you might see changes in cost depending on your post-migration user count. |
