Global: Senior Management Team

The hiring of the Senior Management Team (SMT) will be the most important decision that is made. It will need

  • a CEO who has a market orientation, strong leadership skills and a keen sense of rightness
  • a CFO who can ensure the project is funded and then comes in on time, on budget without drama.
  • a Chief Engineer with an open mind, to find proven, sustainable systems that are affordable for a project of this magnitude.

It may turn out that this staff will be senior not only in skill, but perhaps in age. Experience is paramount. It also may involve candidates whose primary motivation is not pecuniary but to leave a better world to their grandchildren.
